The Mystery Blogger Award

Happy Saturday everybody! I hope you’re having a fabulous weekend. I’m in good spirits and was nominated by the amazing Safe Haven; Anonymous Letters for the Mystery Blogger Award. Their blog is focused on candid honesty about everyday experiences, thoughts and feelings with the protection of being anonymous. I love their content and blog – so thank you very much. It means a great deal for you to think of me for this post.

Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion. Okoto Enigma. The creator of this award is Okoto Enigma’s Blog – thank you Okoto for bringing this to the community.

  1. Put the award logo/image on your blog.
  2. List the rules.

  4. Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well. (if someone could direct me to the creator that’d be fab)

  6. Answer the questions you were asked.
  7. Nominate 10-20 people & notify.
  8. Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question (specify).

3 Things About Myself

  1. I had an umbilical hernia as a baby which meant I couldn’t keep food down until they removed it. My parents had to feed me every hour, and took it in turns to do so. Sorry guys! – I do have a cool little belly button scar though from the operation.
  2. It took me about 3-4 years to grow my hair back after it snapped off in 2013 from a relative’s bad hairdressing! It snapped up to my jaw line after being down by back. Horrific.
  3. My favourite kinds of books are memoirs on historical events and stories – I prefer to read about what other people have been through and how they overcame their trials.

The questions given to me:

1. If you could give one piece of advice to your 16 year old self, what would it be?
End the relationship and go live your life, honey. Take chances, accept opportunities and make the most of being young and free!
2. If you had to give up, for the rest of your life, chocolate or pizza – which one would it be?
Oh Pizza. Without a second thought.
3. What is at the top of your bucket list?
Visit New York/parts of America. Absolutely dying to get over there and experience it. Goals are expensive.
4. In your opinion, what is the most important thing about blogging?
For me, it’s all about engaging and being present in the community. If you expect people to read your content, you have to be able to reciprocate that respect and read theirs too and become their friends, not just another name in a list. Your blog has to be a representation of you, and how you connect with people.
5. Where is your happy place?
Definitely at home. There’s nothing I like more than knowing I have no other plans for the rest of the day, and I can go home and relax. Also, another happy place is my mum’s where my doggy is!

My Best Posts

It’s hard to pick as I’ve wrote at least one every single day for the last month! But the one’s I am most proud of are:

I Nominate:

My questions to you guys are:

1. Why did you choose a written blog over a video blog?
2. What are your top 3 favourite films of all time?
3. What have you learned about yourself through blogging?
4. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
5. If you were abducted by aliens and had to describe Earth to them in less than 10 words, what would you say?
Happy blogging! I look forward to reading your responses if you choose to participate! 🙂

Congrats on the award! My hair is way long right now, not sure how I would react if it snapped up to my jaw line. Lots and lots of tears I’m sure.
